Hi. It's me again... Never ending drama with USEM. Ok USEM had asked us to submit documentatioins. My fiance hand delivered those documents twice (one week apart). The first time my fiance hand delivered it, they said they never got documents. So I had asked my fiance to go back and hand delivered it again a week after. When I called them today to follow up on the status they said they never got the document again! Tomorrow my fiance will go back again to freaking hand deliver it again!!! Are they doing this on purpose to delay it? What the heck... Who else can I call besides the senator to get this settle once and for all.... It's been over 14 months since our K1 interview and until now we are still waiting for the visa... Because of their mistakes we are emotionally and financially hurting... this is really stressing us out... how much longer do they want us to wait?? do they want us to give up and just refile??? :crying::angry:

Has anyone turned in additonal documents but the USEM claims that they never received it?

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

Wow.. that seems like that's getting out of hand..i'm sorry you guys have to go through this..did they ask for other additional documents again or the same one they asked for? well, my thoughts to you is once you turn in all of it and they tell u its under review..just call 2x..don't make kulit, kulit to them..you know how philippines is..hum, how some stupid people in USEM..if you make kulit,kulit..some are stupid and put ur papers backwards..that's how crazy some pipol in pinas are..

but maybe they are just asking for the complete documents..just give them what they need then wait from that date..i'm sure u will get ur visa soon..our wait took 1month and 2weeks after the day we submitted additional documents..

i dont want to be one sided on the issue however i would like to give a benefit to the doubt....

hmmm...just my opinion

First the mistake could have been not exactly because the pre screener put a wrong date but should have been perhaps due to miscommunications. Why did i say this, sometime they play as if they (the prescreener and the consul) dont know and asked you to see how sure you are to your answer.

While i was waiting for my turn for an interview i could clearly hear the pre screener asking the beneficiaries. Also i have observed some beneficiaries dont know exactly but an estimate of time arrival, stay and other info of the petitioner...

So it is important for us that we know every lil detail of our petitioner..

In your case what took that long is that there is descripancy and every lil details is important to them.

The good person you could ask for is mr.Haole,i think he is experienced on that matter (denied visa),follow up status, the waiting time frame.

Although the process could be longer, im sure in the latter you will end up together with your husband...

dont get upset if they dont work with your case right away,as i could see there are many people (which means many cases) in the embassy everyday...

So pray while you wait.....God bless

patient test your love with each other too so be patient...

That is so stupid for them to say they didnt get the documents your husband's submitted personally. I would believe if it was send thru courier. I had to come back to USEM also before i got my visa and i could say that they have a smooth procedure with regards in submitting addtional docs only that you dont get a receiving copy.

What number are you calling?

What window is your fiancee dropping additional documents to?

Did your fiancee get the name of the person who was receiving your additional documents?

Are you submitting your additional docs with a cover sheet explaining what you are submitting and why along with MNL case number?

Answer htese and we can go from here and get some explanation on why your files keeps getting misplaced.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

Have them go back and resubmit, but type up a receipt with a list of what you submitted. Get the person receiving your documents to verify that all the documents are there and then have them stamp your receipt with the date received and the name or number of the person who received them. That would give you something to show them if they again claim the documents weren't submitted.

hello there...i agree with jsnearline...i learned that from my previous company when i was still in PH.... 'if it is not written...its not done'...so make sure that you list all the documents that they requested from you with your MNL number and have a receiving copy of what you hand them...make sure that they sign and date it by whoever will receive it...

im sorry to hear that you are still struggling with USEM...i just cant believe it...we have the same interview date and youre still stuck with them....i hope everything will workout soon...

I cannot believe this! Did your fiancee really hand delivered the additional documents herself? Once maybe, but not twice. Something is amiss here and it's not the embassy. Just my two cents :star:

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

I am sorry to hear about your problems at the USEM. I too have had issues with them but not losing documents. I am refiling the I-130 because of them. This time I will be present during the interview and will not leave unitll they look at all 6 inch stack of papers that they didn't even bother with last time. I am on a mission, when I go to the Phlippines for my wife's interview, it will not a vacation, this will be business. I will give them so much eveidence, it will make them cross eyed. I am fed up with their games just as you. But don't give in, thats what they want.:blink:

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

I agree that the pre-screener plays an important role for the visa approval because base on my own experience, the consul didn't ask so much question about my fiance and our relationship, only 3 or 4 repetitive questions and no evidence of bonafide relationship asked except for our pictures. He didn't even try to scan the pictures. I observed that the consul didn't scan the documents instead read what the pre-screener written on the top of my application.

For letting them receive your documents, you should make a receiving copy stating what they are receiving from you. At the receiving copy, there should be date of when it is receive and who receive it.

In that way, you have proof that they receive the documents from you, and they couldn't deny it.
