Our case was completed on 02/13/09 @ the NVC.. and then sent to the Jamaica emabssy.. and that's were we are stuck.. My hubby hasen't heard ANYTHING from them.. and each time I try to contact them, I get the same run around.. the NVC can't help or answer any questions, because the paper work is in Ja, well the Jamaica embassy dosen't answer any case related questions by phone, only by e-mail.. well I have sent over 9 e-mails.. and each time I get the same response.. "we can't respond personaly to all e-mails, we receive over 19,000 case a year" bla bla bla :bonk: I did get a reponse from the department that handles NIV.. my hubby's is IV..they said they mailed his paper work out on 02/20/209.. but he never got it  sure they did.. well if anyone has any suggestion, please feel free to respond.. thanx for letting me vent  Blessings & Respect

Unfortunately our we haven't got a case completed because I have to send a divorse decree copy since I send the original with the I-130 to USCIS and called a Supervisor at NVC to ask if we could take the original to the Embassy and they gave me a big "NO". My wife just sent the Original just today by FEDEX from Colombia and they should get it on Tuesday morning. I think this will turn things upside down since I was looking to use my K# interview set for June 22 and since NVC takes forever for a single thing this strategy is not going to happend! Any comments? Anyone think this might be possible with the little time frame that we have???:huh:

Hi jomartinez67,

I know its very hard to find an RFE but I think after they get it it should not be long as your case is already reviewed.

In the worse case scenario you would have to pospone your K3 interview. The difference between the two interviews is not that long so please dont be frustrated, you will hear the good news soon.

All the very best to you

Just got off from NVC operator.. Case is still not done, still final review. Was suggested to call back next Wednesday. My papers were received May 18th and May 21st. Anyone else out there that are waiting or already have their case completed? Need a sign of hope here. :innocent: Thanks everyone. Have a nice weekend ahead... :)
