Can I send a cashier's check instead of a personal check for I-130 and I-485? ...one for $355 and another for $1010.

sure but there is no advantage.... a US$ money order works as well

Yes you can. I paid with a cashier's check because my bank doesn't issue money orders.

The advantage of using a personal check is that it's trackable-you can see when it gets cashed. I know you can't do that with a money order, not sure about the cashier's check.
