hi everyone....i came from USA in Jan and got married here in INdia....i applied for K-3 visa......filed I-130.....at new delhi that is approved....Recieved a packet in the mail couple days ago to fill out DS 230 part one and DS 2001 and send it back...also recieved I-864 forms with instructions....my questions

1. Where do i file I-864...here in India or in USA?

2. Do my wife takes I-864 filled out form to her interview in Delhi?

3. I been in india for almost four months and will be here another two months....i left my job when i came to india....wat do i write on form I-864 where they question about employment....If I write unemployed currently will this effect my case?.....so my question is will I need household member to fill out I-864A to show suffiecent income support.....I had enough income for the past three years and i have all my tax returns showing that....Are they enough proof or do i need to have a current job....but since i been in INdia for four months how can i have a current job?

4. Since household members can only be siblings, parents or adult chindren....do they need to be living in the same house as me?As i don't live with my parents and siblings, can they still file a I-864A for me?

Moved (possibly temporarily) to the IR1/CR1 forum as OP has not filed for a K3; since the I-864 for stateside IR1/CR1s is filed at the NVC, this could possibly be moved there as well. If one of the other organizers thinks it's a better fit there (or elsewhere), please move again. :)
