Hello Everyone,

Just a quick silly question... We filed our AOS package on April, 3d. Our I-130 is not showing online, and USCIS never sent anything (except NOA1) to us regarding that. So, how long do you wait til you call USCIS regarding your I-130? We called, tried to use the automatic system, but it says the case "cannot be accessed at the time". Do you get any updates regarding your I-130 at all? Or do you just wait for the interview?

Thanks

That CRIS system sucks, if I went by that then my I-130 is still pending and I haven't received my EAD card yet but my I-485 is approved. I personally don't know if the phone system is any better though.

I wouldn't worry about it. Everything still shows pending for me, even though I've had the GC for over 6 months now. We just got the NOA1, then after the interview got a notice that it was approved, that was it. I really wouldn't bother too much with the website or phone system, they are often wrong and IMHO just unnecessary stress!

Removing conditions:

10/13/10 - NOA1 date, received 10/18

Your case is still to early in the process for you to be worrying about. I submitted my I-130 on November 26th 2008 and Theres still no decision on it. Last it was updated on March 3rd, 2009. If its visible online, then the touches would show, but its common that most of the cases dont show online and even if any action is taken on it, USCIS doesn't update it. My I-765 and I-131 was approved a month ago and still it shows pending/processing online. My I-485 is still not accessable online. Dont worry. If an interview is required, you will only receive an Interview letter for the I-485 and if approved, your I-130 will be approved automatically.

Your I-130 will be approved or denied at the same time as your AOS. My wife did AOS back in 2005 if I log into the USCIS status page it still shows her I-130 and AOS as pending! She has been a US Citizen since last March.

So do not worry about the online status it is more often wrong than right.

Our I485 never even showed up in the online system until after we were approved. Our I130 still says pending. Point it, the online system pretty much sucks. :( The call center is no better, they only have the same information you see online.

Yeah, you`re right. I don`t trust their system too much... I was just wondering if USCIS actually sends anything to you in the mail to indicate the progress on your application (besides RFEs he-he-he :) ). But I guess they don`t. We`ll just wait for the interview.
