I have made in inquiry with the Embassy, here is what I got in response:

*************

Please note that IMBRA affected only K-1 (fiancee)i visa cases filed after March 5, 2006. As per K3 and other immigrant visa cases, we process them as usual.

Sincerely,

Consular Section

U.S Embassy, Moscow

 Thank you! I hope so.....

Am I the only one here who is married already and is filing both CR and K3??

It feels like all of you guys are on the way to the interviews with your K1s. Eh...I feel like an outcast

Please share anything and everything, I think my I-130 will get approved sooner...which means sending everything to NVC rather than bnringing it to the interview I guess. I did not even research that route yet...

Thanks for all the support.

Natalia,

I was touched too (both petitions), dated the 28th.

Maybe this means our petitions are actually advancing within the process.

Let’s hope!

And that is good news regarding K-3 processing at the embassy.

Natalia,

Our I-130 was approved yesterday. I received notice via e-mail today.

I know yours is forthcoming.

I assumed our I-129 would be approved by now too, before IMBRA; but as you know, there has been a delay in that regard with K-3 petitioners.

Perhaps we will have a decision to make on which way to go - either, the K-3 or the CR-1. I am still hoping that the K-3 process will be faster. Our goal is for Ksenia and the girls to arrive here before the end of the year.

Best wishes!

I am so happy for you! it will be a wonderful New Years Eve:)

Natalia,

I received a second IMBRA RFE yesterday and sent it back. Then, today, I received an e-mail stating that they had received the first one from me. The second RFE came because of my change in address (they sent one to each address).

I noticed that you were also having a little administrative snafu with the handling of your RFE and your change of address. I certainly wish you the best in that regard.

I'm still hoping that the K-3 will prove to be a viable option for us. :)

I just got the RFE to correct address finally. Sent it out today, but I was in such hurry I forgot to make a copy before I sealed an envelope. I hope there will be no trouble. I also heard that if K3 gets to the embassy first and they schedule an interview, if they get I-130 before the interview you can request to have k3 abandoned and they are very likely to keep the same interview date just make it an IR1/CR1 interview. I am not sure if it's true for every case, but wouldn't that be lovely

Good news regarding your RFE; and you'll probably get a second one, like the other K-3 people, so you can just make a copy of the second one.

In either case (K-3 or CR1), I simply hope the interview is completed by the first of December so that Ksenia and the girls can arrive near the end of December. That would certainly make the New Year and Christmas more enjoyable.
