Hello again fellow members,

Just wanna ask to make sure that i will do the right thing in filling out the S 230 form and the choice of agent form that i will be preparing,.

My questions are:

DS 230 Part 1 page 2 - Signature of Applicant?

1. WHo will sign the applicant's form? the child who is the benefeciary? or my mom who is the legal guardian? or I can sign since my kids are still minor( 11 & 7) and i am the biological mother( my USC husband is the petitioner)

My mom is my kid's legal guardian since am already here in the US. Can she sign as the guardian or i can sign so i don't have to send the form to the Philippines for them to sign and send back to me here?

Another question:

CHOICE OF AGENT FORM

2. WHen do i have to prepare this?

3 Will NVC send me the form or i can download it from their webstie?

4. Does it have to be send my mail or can be emailed?

5 Who signs it? My mom(legal guardian) or I can sign it for my kids since i am the mother?

Thank you again for any reply.

Greetings!

1. In the event that the beneficiary is under the age of sixteen, it is acceptable

to have the beneficiary's parent or guardian sign the form. i would prefer you as you already here in the states, bec. all you got to do is download the forms once AOS AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT IS PAID ONLINE.

2. NVC will sent you a notice via email with the instructions on how to pay the AOS AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT, and when you choose to pay it online it takes 2 to 3 days for the status showing paid and further instruction is needed. and at the same time emailed you the ds3032 with instructions, so youll you do is print and sign it and send it back to them.

fees to be paid at : www.immigrantsvisas.state.gov

note: must follow instructions as it tells you your kids mnl case number, invoice identification number that you will need inorder to pay and check for status later online.

3. when the status shows paid you may now go read further the attached instructions. below the reciept page online it will ask you to print cover sheet for I-864 affidavit of support. and also has a link to download affidavit of support I-864 forms.

4. download and fill out the affidavit formI-864 and along with the necessary documents send it back to NVC.

checklist to be sent to NVC:

a. cover sheet that you printed after AOS affidavit of support is paid online.

b. forms I-864, if you have other co sponor then have them prepare I-864 A ( sign and date)

c. tax return for the three years

d. w2 for the past three years also.

e. employment letter (if necessary)

f. last 6 months pay stubs (if necessary)

just my two cents...
