Hi! I have my cousin as joint sponsor. Now, in reply to the RFE, does it matter if my cousin mails it directly to them (she's is chicago, im in NY) or it has to be mailed by me? Also, is there a certain process or anything special maybe like, additional letter or anything that needs to be sent along with the joint sponsor's tax copy and I-864 (affidavit of support)? they do not care who drops it in the mail... as long as it is the evidence they want... no letter is required but you are to include the RFE notice in the response

You have to attach the original RFE notice with the evidence you (or she) will be sending.

The instructions are clearly written on the RFE notice.

• The address to return it to
• The "Attention-To" (Department)
• The original RFE notice (not copy)

So having your cousin simply sending evidence on your behalf is not the answer - not unless you send him/her the original RFE notice and explain how to label the envelope.

Quick Question: I sent back my original rfe with the evidence and now it hasn't arrived, so what do I do about resending it??
