go by the date on the notice...

Hi HelloWorld08, is it really true it took only one day for you to receive your NOA1?

August 06, 2008 - Filed I-129F

August 07, 2008 - Received NOA 1

So I guess on your NOA1, the Received Date and Notice Date are both August 07, 2008? I must say the USCIS was extremely fast with your case. Just curious.

You and i have the same dates however I am Received date: April 27 and Notice date is May 7th. I asked this same question and nobody had the answer to....I dont know...hehehe...

Allison.

Guys, when you say NOA1 date, is it the Received Date or the Notice Date? For example, when I got my NOA1, on the Received Date it says April 23, 2009, on the Notice Date it says May 5, 2009. What is my NOA1 date? Thanks.

I too use the date on the actual notice because that is the day they printed & acknowledged it. I think it is more accurate to use because that's when they actually 'worked' your case. I suppose you can really do anything you like though, lol. Good luck!

go by the date on the notice...

 His problem is that there are two dates on the notice.

There are two dates

1. Received Date

2. Notice Date

for the timeline sake, we go by the received date, because thats when our paper was entered into the USCIS system (Received)
