"Bullish" means "positive" or "optimistic". It comes from the terminology in financial markets of bulls/bears. Bulls are the optimists who believe things are going to get better, bears are the pessimists who believe our best days are behind us.

America has taken a few shocks at home and abroad in recent years, but I have no doubt the best is yet to come. One bull, over here. What about you?
