Hi Everyone:

This should be one of my last posts because thank God yesterday we had our interview in Tampa and it was a success. IT WAS EASY! I had a lawyer and an interpreter with my wife and myself however the interview was painless. Our interviewer from the Tampa, FL office named Donald was great. He asked us to swear to tell the truth. Asked us for identification, asked for my wifes passport. Asked her a couple of questions from the I-485 application, like are you a terrorist, involved in drugs, etc. Easy stuff you know answer no. We had a ton of paperwork and photos and he did not ask to see any of it. For some reason my lawyer filed an I-130 and his concern was this was not necessary and told my lawyer to write on a piece of paper to withdraw this petition and he would give us a stamp in my wifes passport for her green card. Said the green card should arrive in 1-2 weeks. My lawyer did have a small packet of papers assembled which she gave to the interviewer but he only briefly looked thru these and that was basically it. I hope others have it as easy. We did hold hands during the interview which I think helps. GOOD LUCK TO ALL V'JERS.

April 8, 2006. Wedding in USA.

April 19, 2006. Apply for AOS.

July 12, 2006. AOS Interview.

February 26, 2008. Letter to congresswoman.

March 19, 2008. Conditional Permanent residence began!!

2009: Wake up and get on the uscis train again - lifting conditions

Dec 21, 2009. Eligible to apply to remove conditions

February 2010: 10-yr Green Card Received

December 13, 2007 - I-751 submitted to NSC (removing of conditions fun begins...)

December 22 - Received a rejection notice because the form was not "properly signed". Package itself was not returned.

January 1, 2008 - Received packet back from CSC. They are requesting we resubmit the packet (which is already organized by CSC) with a properly signed form.

January 2 - Packet resubmitted to California.

January 12 - NOA1 received (dated 01/07/2008)

January 19 - Biometrics appointment notice received (dated 01/15/2008)

February 1 - Biometrics

March 11 - Approved! Card production ordered (notified via e-mail).

March 20, 2008 - New card arrived in the mail :)

Done until 2018 :)
