hello Visajourney family

First of all thank you all and thanks visajourney, this site been a big help to me

Here is my interview experience:

I was interviewed May 14 and my time scheduled was at 7 am. I got there around 5:30 am.I was interviewed first with the filipina pre screener and a handsome speaking tagalog white guy consul.

The filipina interviewer was a lil cranky while the white guy consul is very kind.

The american consul greeted me "Magandang Umaga" (which means good morning) and then was asked my name and who's my petitioner. He followed up question whats the job of my fiance that i didnt understand cuz it seemed to me that hes chewing what he said and i said: "pardon sir" and he asked me in tagalog ha ha ha :D,i got carried and answered in tagalog and he said "in english"....He asked if my petitioner is filipino and i said "no sir,hes american" and he said "okey".

He spoke tagalog often than english and as i was watching him,he checked and signed my papers and i heard your visa is APPROVED.

Welcome to AMERICA..............

i thanked him and he said back "Maraming Salamat"

it rained quite a bit that morning but my mom said it was a blessing......

To the rest who are still waiting for their interview goodluck and God bless...

wow!! congratulations

Congratulations! To all my fellow filipinas who passed their medical and interview my best wishes also. Good luck on your new life here in the US. I hope you will easily adjust to your new life (because sometimes it takes a while before someone adapts to their new life). Just don't forget our native land, Philippines is still one of the best country to live on though it is quite hard.
