Of course, as usual, it's Friday night and I'm sitting here on the couch going through the VJ threads and wishing my husband was here with me. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm a little depressed tonight, but I guess that's the norm as well for the past almost 7 months. Somebody post some funny pics or something!!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday night. If you aren't yet with your SO, I hope your reunion comes quickly and that whatever step you are waiting to pass in this "wonderful world of immigration" I pray it happens very very soon!

I should go out, but I have a 3 year old and I really don't have anyone to keep her for me. My mom keeps her during the week when I am at work, so I hate to ask her to keep her more than that. My sister is getting a divorce & is living with my parents, has a 4 year old of her own that she doesn't take care of very well...so I can't ask her....I just moved back to my hometown and I don't really have any friends here...so....I just have to wait. I'm kind of used to it now. Work keeps my mind off of immigration for the most part, I stay distracted...its just late at night after my daughter has gone to bed when I really wish I had my man here to talk to & watch movies with...etc.

God has perfect timing and I assure you your time will come soon and you will no longer have to sit alone with a million thoughts racing through your head. I'm in the same situation, my fiance is in England and I'm here in Arizona sitting on the couch too...watching Say yes to the dress and listening to my fiance sleep on skype....I gotta wake him up for work in a couple hours...GOD I LOVE SKYPE LOL....we live with skype on lol....are we crazy? I have a 12hour time difference, Chicago-Bangkok.

My honey works shifts at a hospital. When we're both at home we can do webcam/voice on Skype.

When she's at work, she can open Skype for chat but no voice or cam. She's at work right now, so I'm spending a cold gray Friday night chatting to her and surfing random online stuff.

We have a wakeup system too. She's my alarm clock, wakes me with a Skype call every morning (Chicago time) at 6:15am, which is her 6:15pm.

Hopefully not much longer. Can't wait till she gets here so we can wake up together!

for a second there, i did get confused by the line but i guess its just a typo error she really means she's wishing she's NOT 6000 miles away . to the OP, hang in there, i know how you feel. once you have the visa, itll be all worth it.
