hi i`ve a quick question, do i have to add the new recepit number on my i-485 notice it start with mcsxxxxxxxxx. to my uscis account? because the old one was for 129f, and it has never been updated it still show case pending.Thank you.

Yes, to track your AOS progress you will need to add the MCS receipt number.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Just so you know, USCIS isn't really great about keeping the online database updated. So don't worry too much if you don't seem to see progress being made. Our I485 didn't even show up online until after we were approved.
