The logical thing to do would be to keep processing them in order of NOA1, but AS the RFE's come in.

Meaning...everyone on March 7th wouldnt have to wait for EVERY single person from March 6th to submit an RFE back. But if there was a March 6th with an RFE in, they'd go before a March 7th with an RFE in. Make sense? I mean, you have to consider that there may be people not quite as diligent as us, who will take months to respond to the RFE. USCIS is not going to wait for that person. Its entirely impractical.

Just my thoughts

The problem with this is that they are SENDING RFE'S OUT TO PPL WITH NOA1'S IN APRIL AND MAY BEFORE THOSE FROM MARCH! (sorry had to get that off my chest) Other than that tidbit of info your theory makes sense.....

Thats not entirely true.

Our NOA date is in March and we recieved the RFE from CSC yesterday. Might be good to note that we originally filed in CSC as well.

You have to remember that not everyone who is in the K1 pool is on or responding to this site. The sheer number of visas petitons out there versus the number of members in this forum that read and post regularly is drastically disproportionate.

I think we dont necessarily know the pattern yet, but we should be hopeful that expediting and release of the backlog is beginning to happen!

Please note that I did not say "ALL"... but IMO if even 1 RFE went out for someone with a May date before a March date then it's one too many.

It's so confusing. I have just found out this week as an Australian we can file DCF and Sydney consulate told me it would take 2 months. Just received IMBRA RFE yesterday? What would you do?

I'm going to LA in 2 weeks - if we got married husband could follow me back here in Augst. 2 months puts us in October.

Do you think I'd be in the US any quicker??

You woukld think they would process ones that are complete and ready for further processing instead of waiting for RFE replies for applications with earlier dates. They gotta go with what they have they are backed up already and more waiting only would make it worse.

Thats my 2 cents

The senator's office here said CSC's plan is to process in order of NOA but that is based on RFE response. Meaning exactly what you said is right - they can't not process someone from March 15, for example, just because someone from March 6 hasn't sent back their RFE yet.

She also said that transfers from NSC to CSC are supposedly being handled in a specialized manner - presumably based on original NOA date as well as when they return the RFE. But there is, of course, no proof that this is what is actually going to happen.

It would be nice if they provided us with some information and direction to ease our fears and worries but clearly that is never gonna happen.

Specialized manner = processed by one 93 year old man with severe cataracts and Alzheimer's.

I'm just hoping that they will keep to their original estimated processing times. It's still to damn long but it seems reasonable as long as peeps get the RFE back in a timely fashion.

I don't see why they can't just adjudicate those that already sent their RFEs back and have nothing else to be processed.

since preliminary processing is complete on some of the petitions I would like to know how long the RFE adds to the process and what petitions had their preliminary processing complete. When the first Noa2 is posted then we can guess when we will get ours too. Thank God! At this point it is hard to guess.

I was off for 3 days hoping someone from VSC would have gotten their approval. :( Now I´m also back into their system after they received back my RFE. So I am with high hopes of being approved soon.

The real tragedy to this whoel RFE is that people in my situation (NOA 2 approved months ago and interview cancelled) are waiting on nothing. Because I have no criminal record all I am doing on the RFE is signing my name. Nothing but signing my name to a piece of pre-printed paper with my case number and fiances name on it. I don't have words to express the months of agonizing pain and lack of reasoning behind this horrible implementation of IMBRA.

I can't imagine the emotional letdown of thinking you were "at the finish line" only to have to start the race all over again.....

But... at least your petition was processed. I've been waiting since march for them to even start mine. It could be worse.
