Raw zuccini, home grown, of course :D

I've never been a fan of raw zucchini. Do you eat it plain or with something?

Plain, the little baby ones. Good for the digestive tract too:)

oooooh ok I am growing some of the baby ones so I'll have to try them raw when they arrive :)

They do taste very, well, vegetably so I don't suppose it's for everyone. It's not going to be the same experience as those recipes you gave me - but sometimes I think it's good to go for something raw and green.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I went a vegetarian Indian food place - Samosas.

Garbanzo beans, yogurt curry with cauliflower, rice and something that resembles a meatball in a red sauce. ...and a ginger beer, reggae style.

Very tasty. :)

brown the roux, not in the oven, but the old-fashioned way.

btw, I'm not Cajun, just Southern. My family is comprised of rednecks and Creoles.

All the Hare Krishna food talk is giving me some idea about the Book Club meeting with Amby.

To Amby-- You think your friends should try something other than usual Indian food they might have tried in Indian restaurants or should we go with the usual stuff

To Randomizer-- You think Americans might digest something like -- lau chingdi, kochur shaag or Mocha kind of stuff or be safe with the usual butter chicken and malai kofta?
