What should we wear?

Posted (edited)

Everything you have sounds fine to me!

I would probably bring more pictures from past occasions (if you have any), at my interview it was all the officer was interested in...she said the best part of her job is that she gets to look at pictures from all over the world...luckily we had plenty! :D

Seriously, everything seems fine. I'll re-read it and compare your list with what I brought, so I'll let you know if I remember anything else.

About what to wear...at my interview I wore black pants and a nice pink shirt. My husband came to the interview straight from work, so he was wearing his dressy pants and shirt. There were a lot of couples who were just wearing jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes, and that seemed ok too. Personally, I liked wearing nice black pants and shirt...it made me feel a little more professional and confident!

Good luck on your interview, I'm sure it will go GREAT!(F)

If he is still working for the same employer I wouldn't worry about it. Also, if its not more than 6 months old I will let it be. I did mine in early October - Interview in 5 months (this friday) - I am making more money but I am not doing a fresh one - just taking recent pay stubs and the 2005 tax return with me (in additin to the rest of the stuff.) Good Luck

Hey Monster, Congratulations!!!

Did you put all documents on the table or did you have in file?

Also do you need to bring copy of all the documents you submitted for AOS? For example, i-485, supporting documents and stuff...

Let me know how it goes...

If you can proof that you make mor (pay Stubs, Tax return) I don't think you need a new affidavit. I took one and they didn't want to have it. My HUsband changed employers and makes more money now.

I had everything in a binder, organized. So I was able to give him exactly the papers that he asked for.
