Congrats prima and jay!

I am staying away from calling DOS at the moment, and we have resigned ourselves to believe that he is probably in the standard AP that they put everyone so far (who were Pakistani citizens and students in the UK). So I will probably contact DOS by July 12 if I don't hear anything by then as the average AP for people that fit his citizenship and residential profile is approx 4 weeks.

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

I'm with you Marm, help you deliver this baby, I know its not easy seeing others hear about the visa in quick turnarounds and you still waiting. I know.

the only upside of that is, your time line, its still in July, and its not another 7month wait. I think you will get your visa in a month, if the standard wait is four weeks. youve seen a lot of us come and go Marm, and now your in the last leg. Just a little push............

Thanks primahen! We have waited over 10 months now, so just a couple of weeks more isn't too bad in terms of waiting, but I just hope a couple of weeks is all it takes. We can wait bout till the middle of July (~July 15 or so) but if its longer than that, it will surely have me on edge ALL OVER AGAIN...like with the UKHO passport situation.
