can someone who is going thru islamabad please help me and tell me which forms my fiancee in pakistan has to send back to get teh interview date... please help i have no clue at this point. also does she need her medical before the interview and do i need to send my financial information before the interview or are we supposed to take it to the interview.

so in recap:

1 what do we send before the interview

2 what do we take to the interview

i checked the guides but i didnt get specific answer thanks.

i didnt go through islamabad but you can try searching through there website

i had to sumbit a packet 3 before the intreview

which included ds 230 part 1, checklist, and applicant statement

you will recieve packet 3 in the mail, and it will give you all the instructions

you can call the embassy, the number is on there website and see if you can ask them whats going on with your case and if they send out packet 3 yet

Yasswe brother , go to the going through Islamabad thread. If i recall they sent a checklist from the embassy detailing.

Never even been to ISB, but my fiancee went through Chennai Consulate for K-1.

The packet-3 does have to be submitted before the interview (submission is mandatory for them to schedule it).

On the medical: recommended that it be done prior to interview, but this can be difficult to achieve given dynamics of PCC issuance (exactly what happened for Pras--she had to postpone the medical to post-interview, then deliver the report to the consulate, and wait a few days longer in Chennai than originally planned).
