Missing VJ bits

I've noticed lately that some of the links people post to searches they did in the old forums are producing "404" errors...anyone know the cause?

Also, I get the same error when I try to go to the old gallery from the link in the new gallery

And, there used to be a way to sort member info by country, but I can't find that anymore....

For the old links, add a '2' after the word 'forums' in the URL, it will magically change into the right thread.

I know that is the theory, but I haven't been able to make links that people post to old threads work lately. Such as this one, for example from the VJ founders? topic (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19416)

ahhhh.

That's the old broken link syndrome---it cut the link's middle part out.

Try going... oops, never mind, that didn't work.

PM zyggy and ask him for the link, as a workaround. But don't go reading that stuff--it was depressing!

Yeah, I know, I was around then I was just going to that link as a test to see if I could get to the archives.

I usually try to remember to use the hyperlink helper when I'm posting long ones like that---there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to why they work sometimes and not others.
