06.17.2010 - submitted our papers

06.19.2010 - papers arrived at Chicago lockbox

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

Congrats. Our I129F and I130 got approved in April 1st week. But we are waiting for NVC to send our packet on I129F (K3 visa) to India still today. Please let me know how long it takes in your case?

Also, are you taking I129F route or I130 (CR1) route to get your spouse here?

I was told it takes 5 months from I130 approval date to see your family here. So I129F is considered a faster route. Please let me know if you know something mroe about this.

Just got both Petitions APROVEL notices in mail box today their was not even a single touch on USCIS since we filed our petitions.Thank you for my dear VJ friends.

Yes K3 is faster and we have lawyer whose handling our visa case and our I-129F petiton was forwarded to NVC on MAY 7TH and if we chose I-130 it would take allot longer then K3 i hope we will get our packet from NVC within 30 days.
