Just curious how much the medical exam costs in Bangkok for a 33 yr old female and 13 yr female? Are all the vaccinations needed or is there a minimum needed to get the visa and a few more needed later down the road? I checked the Dept of State website and it gives a general price but I need to know how much is actually needed because I'm seeing on their website like 2K Baht and I'm hearing other prices like 3K Baht (not including vaccinations). Thanks in advance!

The embassy requires all the vaccinations to be done. Depending which ones are needed it will be between 3-13K per person, if they have a vaccination record then you won't need to repeat vaccines they already had. The 13 year old will need the HPV vaccine and that is expensive. That vaccine alone was 5500 baht. Our total medical was about 12K she needed 4 vaccinations, and then the exam. We went to BNH, I believe Bumrungrad is cheaper.

But I just noticed that you are doing a CR1 so I don't know, the above is in the case of K visa. You will probably want to do the HPV in Thailand for the young girl, cause it is cheaper then in the states.

I do believe that your daughter will have to get HPV vaccine too since she is now 13 yrs already and HPV alone cost about 3900 baht. Ask your wife to bring at least 10,000-15,000 baht just in case. It cost me about 7000 baht for everything including the vaccine for HPV already.

All required vaccinations will be done prior to entering USA. The exception is if a series (e.g. HPV) of shots is needed; then it is alright just to get the first shot in Thailand, and continue them after entering USA.

My fiancée needed a few vaccines and the total of the medical and those vaccines was around 3,800 Baht; 2,500 Baht just for the exam.

Fiance just had hers today at Bumrungrad 5500 for exams and vaccinations. She is 31 so no HPV needed.

Depending on vaccinations, it may cost a lot more if the doctor request to get the shot(s).

But sometimes it can be compensated from your medical insurance if you have medical insurance.
