The devil is in the details and the AP story focused on those details/facts. Many feared that Murdoch would turn the WSJ into another Fox News and their fears have come true. Just like that memo you posted yesterday. That's pure yellow journalism. It's too bad you can't see it.

The Legal Times didn't frame the report as Obama considering keeping the Detainees indefinitely, it merely gave the statements. But go ahead and have your day of sunshine, Gary. Once the White House gives an official statement is when you can say with confidence, just what Obama's position is and what he intends to do. But I know you're not interested in that. You're as anxious as a school girl at a Jonas Bros. concert, waiting and hoping for the next, gotcha moment of Obama's Presidency.

I really don't give a damn about Obama or any other politician for that matter. I have had a belly full of all of them. I was hoping for something new and I did have a small amount of hope that Obama would live up to the hype. But yet again I can see he is just like all the rest. Obama is Bush redux, Bush was Clinton redux, Clinton was Bush redux. None of them are worth a warm squirt of piss. To hell with the whole lot.

I think what we're seeing now is like Private Pike said, Obama is now in the presidential bubble surrounded by a social milieu that that has access to him 'where only that the circumstances Obama is presented with limit the available options." In journalism they say follow the money and I think the military had some sway in this as they just got 92 billion to continue the war.
