Need some help!

I working with NVC with our case, I'm sending today DS-230 package but at the same time my wife is sending DS-230 and DS-2100 to the US Embassy in Bogota Colombia but our CR-1 case is flying, so far I thing everything is going well but going through the guides it says that I can schedule the the K-3 interview and It could become CR-1 letter on! is that true? IF our case gets completed by NVC and forwarded to the Enbassy will the change the K-3 schedulled interview to a CR-1?

I would appreciate all responses, please help.

Your question is embassy specific. I know Montreal does not do that but I think some do!

From what I understood on the Lince guide if I shedulle the K-3 interview and I get the approval from NVC for CR-1 and the forward it to the Embassy the will change the interview to a CR-1 interview. That's what I understand! but I'm not sure that it could be possible.
