How long does It take For Case to get to Vietnam?

I noticed on some of the time lines it's only taking less that a week. Mine has 16 day's and Vietnam still does not have my file :(NVC Told be it was sent out on the 12th.

I call +8488229433 And ask for infomation And I tell them the HCM cass# I got from the NVC and they say they don't have that case.

Am I calling the Right Place?

K1/K2 Time Line:

2-22-06 I-129F sent to Nebraska Service Center

3-03-06 NOA1 Received In Mail

5-27-06 NOA2 Received In Mail

6-08-06 NVC Received

6-12-06 NVC Sent File To HCMC

8-01-06 Van Received Packet 3

8-02-06 Van turned Back Packet 3 at Consulate.

9-29-06 Van Received Packet 4 in the Mail.

10-23-06 Interview - Passed

12-01-06 POE - San Fransisco, 10 Min Thur Immigration for Van and Thu

Hi Robert,

You are certainly calling the right number at the US Consulate in HCMC.

Are they telling you they don't have your case at all, or they haven't received the physical case file yet?

Check with the Consulate in HCMC again and see if they have received an electronic file by that case number.

Hi Robert,

Every Time I call They Tell me they don't have this case #. I even ask them if they have received a electronic file. She just told me they do not have the Case #. It sounds like she's looking into on a computer because she repeats my case # back to me.

Hi Robert,

Perhaps your next step might be to call NVC again and ask exactly what was sent to HCMC and when? Ask them if they sent an electronic case notification and verify the case number with NVC again. Explain to them that you've talked to people inside HCMC and they don't show anything in their system with that case number.

I called HCMC I they just got the electronic file Today. It took the NVC 17days just to send that? When they Told on the phone that my case was sent out on the 12th

Either way you have an electronic file at the US Consulate in HCMC now! That is assuring.

Maybe this IMBRA thing is causing a ripple of delay through the system, even for those that aren't directly affected (i.e. like you).
