I carved "I love Bush" in my forehead back in 2000. Regretting that now.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

If this is a totally isolated incident, then I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if he cuts himself regularly (or even not that regularly, but often enough), this can be a form of a mental illness. People that "cut" themselves usually have self-esteem and depression issues.

You should probably talk to him about this and make sure you fully understand what his mental state is.

Good luck.

I agree :thumbs:

I agree, even if it is a total non-issue for the medical, it should be enough of an issue for you to speak to him about it.

Good luck.

It might come up during his medical. Will it cause issues? It has the potential, since it is harmful behavior and the panel physicians do not tend to take self-mutilation lightly (and they should not). I would presume your spouse has sought counseling of some sort and can provide a letter from a mental health care professional?

p.s. TYPING IN CAPS IS BAD MANNERS.

My tatoos would be a real problem then???

Two different things.

He could always get it tattooed over...

But the OP should talk to him about it...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Hi i talked to my husband today, he says its completely healed, no redess or anything like that, hes gotten real tan lately from his construction job, especially his arms so it covers even more. It blends with his skin color now so i dont think its a problem anymore. im just gna hope for the best and put it in gods hands. hopefully he has a good medical and interview, and it shouldnt be a problem, hes never been on drugs or tried to commit suicide or any of that crazy stuuff, and its not like he did it yesterday to wear its highly visible. im just gna pray for the best at his medical and his interview, and that he gets the visa, and we can be together again. ive been too stressed for too long and now i have something to be happy about, his upcoming interview. im going to pray for the best and i know god will make it work for us. i will only be positive from now on.
