Question about returning back from Egypt

My husband is due to come back to the US Sunday. He called wondering if he needs any special stamp in his passport . All he has is his paperwork stating he has a case that is still pending AOS and of course his AP papers. He is wondering if he will be permitted to board the plane. His K-1 visa obviously is expired. Now he's got me thinking....doesn't he need some kind of stamp in his passport? We didn't think about infopass before he left because we thought all he needed was his AP papers in order to return. Should he try to get to the Embassy Saturday and ask them to stamp his passport? Just wondering if anyone had a similar experience or advise. Thank you kindly for your reply.

We didn't use it but if he has the AP papers that's all USCIS told us my husband needed.

Did he get his travel permit yet that comes with the AOS and EAD? I think he needs that to come back in unless its different from the k1 visa.

I believe the AP is the travel permit unless there is something that's happened since we were at that point.

He has his Parole Doc and EAD. He had his interview for the GC at the beginning of April, however at that time no decision could be made because they stuck us in checks....AGAIN. We just want to know if LEAVING Egypt will cause a problem without having anything stamped in his passport.

AP is the travel doc, he should be fine with it. Bet you'll be happy to have him back

He should be fine Nagi with his AP paperwork. My husband said EG was very familiar with our paperwork and stamped everything and just rushed him through when he came home.

TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION: Presentation of the original of this document authorizes a transportation line to accept the named bearer on board for travel to the United States without liability under section 273 of the Immigration and Nationality Act for bringing an alien who does not have a visa.
