I am applying for my mom

It`s time for me to send DS-230

1. Do I send the originals docs and copy of them to NVC or only regular copies?

2. Do we get the originals back at the interview or not?

3. At the intervew does the applicant have to bring originals again?

1. yes you need to send the originals and a photocopy

2. Yes you get the originals back at the interview.

3. No they have the originals you send them.

PS. Dont forget to include the Petitioners original birth certificate and marriage certificate (for all marriages) If forgot to include those and got a RFE.

I advise you to bring copies of the original documents you send to the NVC to the interview just in case they say they're missing something. It's best to be overprepared when it comes to these things.
