Konton is doing direct consular filing, which is less the half the time of filing for I-130 in the US. He gets to skip NVC cause the field office in Vietnam is handling the whole case.

I know to give my wife my passport already, and I have all my residential documents to let them know that I am in Vietnam with her. I even have the paper that shows I paid $6000 USD for Vietnam taxes for the past year of me working here. I have an abundant amount of proof that I have been here for more than a year and have proof I plan to stay here until she gets her visa.

We can't be there for the interview. My wife will not be happy. She hates those interviewers with a passion.

So your wife thought the service was worth it?

hniHnitsuJ, I'll answer you in my other post.

Thanks Everyone for you suggestions. My wife decided to go to the 147 Nguyen Kim place because her friend recommended it also. We talked to Ngan, the woman sitting next to Mr. Thanh, and she was really nice and handled my wife really well in making her feel comfortable about the upcoming interview. When my wife 1st step in there she heard Mr. Thanh speak and dealing with customers in a loud voice with his slick back hair appearence and aggressive talking he intimidate my wife too much so she went for ms. Ngan.

OK the lady sits next to Mr. Thanh name Ngan. What you have seen how is Mr. Thanh's attitudes dealing with customers is exactly right. At Nguyen Kim services they charge for preparing paper work + evidence + how to do when you interview is now 200,000 VND. I went to Mr. Thanh last year and came back this year in Apr. but no more. Would not recommend any one.

Best luck! for both of you.

God BLess,

DAI_VN,

You still need someone to help your wife on preparing for the interview and stuff? Man, I thought you guys are good enough. I thought you're knowledgable enough to go with out them. I guess I have to look into hiring someone too huhhh? Does anyone else do the same thing as Dai?

I had to go with a dich vu place cause the embassy gave me short notice and I didn't get my interview letter until yesterday.. All the medical exam places are booked up until next month so I used a dich vu place to get me the medical exam sooner cause they reserve spots to do the medical on certain days so they can get you in the exam sooner. I went to IOM yesterday and they were booked until may 29 and my interview is on may 28 so I had to go with dich vu service. And also I wanted my wife to feel comfortable with a professional talking to her and somehow she doesn't think I know what I am doing fully. It's ok... I understand her and I would do the same thing, for instance, I would rather listen do a real doctor more than go on web MD and getting info off the internet so I understand how it works.

What is meant by your need $$$$ in VN, if you want to check up early. That's all..

It's only cost less than $300 for me. from Start to End. It's worth a try. Since we all in the States, and our SO doesn't feel comfident taking care all the paperwork on her own. Think it over. Very relieve for your SO.
