Today i recieved an appointment letter via email and i was wondering before beneficiary goes for medical tests; is there some documents that needs to be filled in? So far, i only got a appointment letter.

Service Center : Vermont Service Center

2008-08-07 : I-130 Sent

2008-08-16 : Recieved NOA1 Hard Copy

2008-08-19 : I-129 Sent

2008-08-27 : NOA1 Approved -I-129F

2009-02-12 : RFE Email

2009-02-17 : RFE mail Rcvd

2009-02-20 : Traveled 2 India to correct the RFE issue

2009-03-02 : Mailed the corrected RFE Docs to USCIS

2009-03-04 : Received confirmation via email from USCIS that they received the RFE documents. CASE RESUMED

2009-04-02 : NOA2 Approved for I-129F and I-130 via email

2009-04-08 : NOA2 Arrives in mail for I-129F and I-130

2009-04-11 : Received letter from NVC stating I-129F case has been forwarded to EMBASSY for processing.

NVC Journey

2009-04-15 : Case Number Assigned - Received this by speaking to a live operator. NVC automated message was not updated-it said "NO CASE# Assigned"

2009-04-17 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail)

2009-04-20 : DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-04-20 : DS-3032 sent (by e-mail) again after receiving the email for DS-3032 and AOS bill generated

2009-04-20 : AOS PAID (online)

2009-04-23 : AOS package sent to NVC

2009-04-24 : DS-3032 Choice of Agent accepted - Beneficiary received email - ACCEPTED one was 4/17/2009 email

2009-04-24 : IV Fee bill generated

2009-04-24 : IV bill PAID - showed PAID ON- 04/25/2009 and printed coversheet

2009-04-25 : DS-230 sent to NVC

2009-05-07 : case complete at NVC

Embassy Journey

2009-05-13 : Forward the case to Embassy in Chennai, India

2009-06-18 : Medical

2009-06-26 : Visa Interview

2009-06-26 : Visa Approved

2009-06-29 : Visa in Hand

2009-07-02 : POE - (JFK, New York)

Congrts on ur interview scheduling

NOpe ...i dont think so....just double check with the medical clinic when u call for an appointment.

Mar 4,09 NVC recvd fee

Mar 10,09 AOS sent

Apr 13,09 CASE COMPLETED(per operators)

Calling DOS begins,here is what I was told

Jul 7,09 No info @ DOS

Jul 10,09 Case sent to DC-pending

Jul 17,09 Pending

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Sep 26,09 REUNION :)

Passport

Interview Letter

2 passport-style photo (although I think he only needed 1)

His medical report from last year (he had done a regular yearly full-body check up last august, independent of this immigration process)

08/28/2012 - NOA1 date
08/31/2012 - Received email from USCIS saying the package is accepted
09/11/2012 - Received a letter saying case transferred Lee's Summit, MO
02/15/2013 - Received an email saying case is approved
02/22/2013 - I-130 NOA2 hard copy received

NVC Journey

02/18/2013 - NVC received the case
03/11/2013 - NVC case # assigned
03/12/2013 - Petitioners' email corrected, Beneficiary's email added
03/13/2013 - DS3032 received
03/13/2013 - DS3032 email sent (was sent before the we received the DS3032)
03/13/2013 - AOS fee invoiced and Paid (shows In Progress)
03/14/2013 - AOS fee shows PAID
03/14/2013 - AOS package sent (overnight next-day delivery)

so that means there is no document that we need to fill before going for this appointment. I thought we needed to do some forms like ds230 for medical that was provided by embassy

No documents need to be filled out for the medical report. The facility that you have the medical exam done may have specific requirements. My wife needed to bring her passport, 3 passport size photograpsh, NVC appointment letter, and the fees. Call the facility and ask them what you need to bring with you.
