i didnt even know i have A# on my I-797c. on my I-94, he wrote me A# so i used it for AOS

and i relized i have A# on I-797 (my husband has one too). it's same number but missing 0

so A# starts A 0XX XX XXX , but i used AXXXXXXXX. also we put None for my husband's A#.

what should i do? do i have to just wait?

They will figure it out.

When USCIS employee write down A#, they usually ommit leading 0 for their convenience.

If your husband is US citizen by born, he may not have A# since it is assigned to aliens by USCIS.

If you feel unsafe, you can mail the letter to correct the information with the case number from I-797 NOA1.

Mailing address for the case is written in the bottom of I-797 NOA1 for your I-485 AOS receipt.

You may copy NOA1, and send the copy of NOA1 along with the letter for their convenience. :whistle:

Sometimes people find out that they have multiple A# during the interview by surprise, too.
