Ok people...i just got back from my interview today and we were approved...THANK GOD...

I will write later what happened during the interview, but first i need to know one thing:

Does anyone know something about an EXIT INTERVIEW?

My future husband told me something about that but i asked a few people at the interview and no one knows anything about it.

Brazilian community, does any one know?

What i read was: Purpose: To receive the K-1 visa

Just to be clear, here in Brazil u can stop at the embassy to pick up your passport or u can choose the deliver option, that´s what i did.

I´ll be waiting the replies...

PS: i will do my time line, i´m just checking the dates before...don´t worry..

This is the first I have heard of an exit interview...maybe he meant at the POE because there can be a interview at that point???

Some countries require you to get approval from their foreign ministry before they permit you to leave on a K1. For instance, the Philippines has a seminar K-1s must attend. I don't know if Brazil does anything like this, but I would have thought the US Embassy would have known about it and told you if there was such a requirement there.

He´s married to a filipina...that´s why.
