Has anyone had any experience, or willing to guess, when it is better to move?

I realize that no matter when I move I will have to file an AR-11, and once I submit the I-864 I will have to submit an I-865. I'm just wondering how hard it is, or how much time would be lost if the case has to transferred from one subdivision office to another?

I also want to avoid going "out of status", but if it would be better to wait and submit my AOS package until AFTER I moved, with just a little out of status time, I would hold off until after moving.

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated!

I think it's better to apply after you move, because then it'll eliminate the confusion with the different addresses. If you put your new address on the AOS application that will be the only address that they will have in their system and they will send all your mail there. I heard many scary stories about how people changed their address and tried to update it with the uscis and it didn't always work out all smooth and nice...

I'd wait until after you move if we are only talking about 2 or 3 months.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Thanks Anastasia and Rich. That's kind of what I was thinking, but just wanted some positive reinforcement!! :) If I'm lucky, we'll move before her 90 days is up. I just want to get the process started as soon as possible, but I also don't want to make it any more complicated by moving right in the middle of it!
