They require yellow fever vaccination for your own protection mostly and cholorea if you are coming from certain parts of Africa.

If you are staying longer than 6 months then they require a HIV blood test.

I would call your county health district and ask them what they suggest. It was suggested that you have a Hepatitis Injection and Typhoid when I went but that was awhile ago. Like Olivia said, it's all according to how long you are staying.

I would say you should definitely have Hep A and B shots.

My doctor never recommended, nor did I get, any other shots.

I think the cholera, yellow fever and typhoid stuff is more for south Africa?

Living with hubby in Egypt, at last.
