I email HCM consulate last week May-05 and wondering if their actually received our package from NVC? They email me today about PACKAGE IV? Why is that. Why are their waiting until the last minutes to email me? My wife has her interview this coming Monday, 18 of May??? Here's the letter.

Good afternoon,

We have already received your wife’s case from the National Visa Center (NVC). NVC scheduled a visa interview for the beneficiary on 18-MAY-2009 at 09:00 am. NVC has notified both the petitioner and the beneficiary. Either notification received by the petitioner or the beneficiary can be used for medical examination, vaccination and access to the Consulate General on the interview date. If the petitioner has already received the notification, he/she may wish to send it to the beneficiary through mail, fax, and email. A copy of the notification has the same value as the original. In case neither the petitioner nor the beneficiary has received the notification from NVC about one week before the interview date, the beneficiary can come to our office to pick-up the invitation letter between 1:00 and 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except holidays. We are attaching an appointment package to this response for your reference. Please note that those documents submitted to NVC previously do not need to be prepared again.

Is it an interview package that lists all the docs your wife must bring to the interview? Is it the same interview package that was sent via email earlier?

Yes, it's the interview package that lists all the docs mine wife MUST bring to her interview (from HCM Consulate), and NO, it's almost the same package that NVC send it to both of us by via email after NVC case completed and forward to HCM city (from NVC).

1) The via email sent from NVC with my wife and my name on it. (received on 03/07/09)

2) The via email received from HCM Consulate without our name on it. (received today 05/12/09)

I think HCM Consualte is trying to confusing me. Here's the package IV from HCM Consulate. It's important information, but without any os US information. Why are they send it to me???? calling package IV?????

I think you don't have anything to worry about. It's just a general letter about what to bring to the interview that's why it is not personalized. Don't worry. Good luck with your wife's interview. We're all waiting to hear from you next Monday :)

don't you have to have the apointment letter to go to the medical exam? In Package IV it says you are required to bring the appointment letter, passport, 2 visa photos and the fee. If she uses that letter to get the medical exam then that is the same letter you use to get into the US consulate door.
