I'm from philippines my husband filed I-130 petition for me and for our 2 kids and was given a priority date of JANUARY 04, 2005 under F2A category. we got approved last Oct 01, 2008. 2 weeks ago I emailed the NVC to inquire about the current status of our case, yesterday the NVC responded to my inquiry, to be specific here's what they told...YOUR INQUIRY HAS BEEC RECEIVED AT THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER. IF YOU WISH TO CONTINUE UTILIZING THE ATTORNEY OF RECORD PLEASE NOTIFY THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER FOR HIS OR HER CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS ( if applicable). what does it mean.. are they asking me to email to them my choice of agent form (DS-3032)..please need your opinion..thank you and god bless.

If you have an attorney for ur case, choice of agent step is skipped by NVC as ur attorney is ur agent automatically. As its been a while since u filed ur case, they are just inquiring if ur attorney has changed his/her office. If so please provide them with the current address.Even if she/he doesnt change her address /other info,i would still email USCIS to notify that all the information given at the time of filing petition is still current.

ok that means you have been going through attorney ( lawyer ) so when you got approved from USCIS and your case move to NVC ,the NVC automatic make that attorney your agent unless you send them another one says this person is your new agent thats what happend with me , so for sure there`s no need for attoreny anymore which i believe theres no need to them at all for this journey and send them another one says your husband he is the agent now

Good Luck
