K1 Peru - medical exam in Lima only or other cities okay??

K1 - Peru -- please help!!

Situation:

My fiance has not received Packets 3 & 4 yet, but we called the US Embassy in Lima last week and they confirmed that he is in their system and the interview date is set for August 3 -- just 5 weeks away, not much time to get all the documents ready!!

Question:

Without waiting for the Packets to arrive, he is going to Lima next week to get the 3 police reports. We want to know if the Medical Exam has to be done in Lima only, or can be done in his own city (Cusco?) -- does anyone have the list of the Doctors/Hospitals from their recent Packets handy, can you please check for me and tell me:

- if Lima-only for the Med. Exam,

- and what are the names of Doctors given for Cusco, if that is listed.

Your fiance will have to go to one of them in Lima, but he needs to wait for the packets because he will need the appointment letter for the medical examination, even for making the appointent. I would suggest to call one of the drs listed above and explain your fiance's situation, maybe he will be able to get an appointment. Wish you luck in everything. Did your fiance have any difficulty getting a medical appointment in Lima? This has been a stumbling block for my fiance.
