Hello Everybody,

I'm a little confused and am hoping somebody can shed some light on this....I called NVC last week and they said my case was complete, however they were unable to schedule an interview for this month, so it would probably be next month. I called them today and they told me that the interview date is June 10th, but then i just got an e-mail saying i'm missing my AOS and my wife's police clearance. I thought that they needed all this information prior to a case being complete or scheduling an interview... I guess my question is, do we resend everything again? Or is it possible that they have it and we don't need to resend it. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful...Thanks!

I would call the NVC, and just send them what they need. Stay encouraged you are almost there.

Salam

Did you send them AOS certified mail or express?Did you track it that when they received it ?Did you have the police certificate with rest of DS-230,if you did then don't worry about emails as they are auto generated and it can be an error.

I would suggest to call NVC a couple of times and speak to different operator to verify the info they are giving you about ur case.I am assuming that you have send them ur AOS and police certificate. You have to ask them and they should have it .As i think getting a police certificate and getting it here will probably take 20 days minimum so you are gonna delay so much time just because NVC lost it some where ......Not fair

It's got to be a false RFE. Just call NVC again and speak to an operator.

Thanks for the advice! I called NVC and they told me that they were unsure as to why they sent that to me. But they did say that my wife needs a new police certificate for the interview as sometimes police certificates expire-which i didn't know could happen....but thanks for your all of your help!
