I did park the Hummer for a while coz I'm cheap.

i sure hope obama can do something about this when he takes office.

He's too busy writing jokes.

But, but, I thought his speechwriters wrote his jokes?

P takes the bus downtown to work (and his company pays the bus fare each year) and I drive about 3 miles round trip. If I didn't have to take 3 kids to various places I'd bike to work.

I love living in a city and not owning a car. Have fun paying for gas, suckers!

Ha ha, jokes on you....... you have to endure crazy crack wh0res and smelly bums on the bus

You've obviously never been on the D.C. Metro, it is probably the best subway system in the country, besides maybe the one in San Fran.

Again, enjoy the gas prices.

I actually have been on both. The fact remains..... while you sit next to some annoying and smelly person on the bus/train, I am sitting in plush leather seats. Enjoy the smell.

And I'll save money and have a nice little walk to work every day rather than just hauling myself into the driveway and sitting down again. Actually, the train doesn't smell that bad during regular hours, since it is filled mostly with commuters and not homeless people or anything like that.

Oh, and I don't have to drive to the grocery store, mall, or any clothing stores. All is in walking distance. Exercise is your friend, car insurance is not.

Boo-f-ing-hoo guys. Gas has been $2.59 here since xmas. :hehe:

I win. Unless someone from Barrow, AK pipes in.

i sure hope obama can do something about this when he takes office.

Meh, he's too busy. He's got a Canadian healthcare system to implement.

Must be a big price difference than what was in Alberta, huh? In BC, the price of gas is a lot higher than it was in Texas.

Good luck in finding parking locations in Boston or NYC for those who drive. LOL

Parking in downtown is tough, regardless of where you are. Ever been to downtown Vancouver? It's a nightmare. Aside from parking issues, there are too many damn pedestrians blindly walking out in front of cars!

I don't mind the pedestrians so much as the people on bikes. GTFO of the left turn lane stupid bikes!!!!!
