I filed a k3 with MCS 3 months ago. Before the FREEZE-UP, it was like watching grass grow,,,,,creeping towards MY APPLICATION DAY

But I had a thought, if all the service centers are not processing the k1 papers, what are they doing over there?? If you check (historically) for time processing for the I-130,,,,even though they are several months out.....the applications were evenly being processed with application dates. Your application date advances 2 weeks,,,,,every 2 weeks.

HOWEVER

IF YOU CHECK the last 2 historical posts offered by Visajourney, the personel in the California Processing Center has DOUBLED up on the i-130 applications......and advanced 1 month of applications in 2 weeks. At that rate, the I-130 will be processed before the I-129F QUESTIONAIRES can even be mailed OUT.

It would be nice if my wife were here in Arizona drinking Iced tea on our porch when the mail came from MSC asking us for whatever. Ha! B)

That's what I hope is going to happen....it's moving pretty fast. I am glad that's what they are doing, because it makes more sense...I'd rather loose $170 and get him here within next few months with green card on teh way , tahn file for AOS and such - it seems to take much longer now:)
