I've never understood what people have against Jews. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Dunno. They hate us coz they hate us. Any reason will do. We killed Christ. We're moneychangers. We bake our Passover matzahs with the blood of Christian children. We're in league with Satan. We lead a vast global conspiracy to rule the world's power and money centers, Protocols of the Elders of Zion yadda yadda. It's all nonsense but that has never stopped the haters.

I figured most of it was the killed christ thing, I just thought people would be over that by now.

Jellied fish? That has to be an acquired taste.

I love fish, I like them in almost all their forms, but not packed in jelly :)

It is an acquired taste. And one not very easily acquired! You are readily forgiven for being reluctant to partake, hence Joyce's reference to this being the cardinal sin of the Jews - inventing gefilte fish!

(Gefilte is a Yiddish word meaning stuffed. The traditional recipe calls for stuffing the intact skin of a fish - carp, pike, etc. with ground fish and other ingredients).

I don't particularly like it myself. The only way I can eat the stuff is by smothering it with horseradish aka "hrein" another Yiddish word of mysterious origin.

I should have been more specific--I was referring to gefilte fish being responsible for reported decrease in Israeli sperm count.

My late (Jewish) grandmother, according to family lore, acquired a tapeworm from premature taste-testing of homemade gefilte fish. :dead:

Speaking of Jewish food, did anyone notice the nationwide shortage of soup nuts this year during Passover? It seems that they couldn't be had for love nor money!

Quality of Israeli sperm down 40% in past decade.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
