Oh you guys... thanks so much... I kind of 'forced my way' into sharing this thread (thanks for being so welcoming MissLiss!)... don't know what's wrong with me really. I have so much to be thankful for and yet I am just in a very sad period right now. It's not like I'm not a whole person without David here, but I just miss him so much. Suppose I just have to accept it and just take things one day at a time... I have a fun weekend planned with my girls, so that will be a distraction, and then we'll see what next week brings.

One thing that's for sure... I've never felt this way about anybody in my life, so that's even further confirmation (not that I need any more) that this is meant to be. And the '#######' we're going through right now is also meant to be... there's a reason for it, I'm sure... I just have to trust and keep on going...

so why do I have reasons to be happy?

1. It's summer

2. My kids are happy it's summer

3. I don't have the running around with school and extra-curricular 'stuff' because it's summer

4. Winter is over

5. Did I mention, it's summer?

6. I have family and friends who love me

7. I found my 'other half' on another continent (ok, he found me... a technicality) and we are desperately in love and perfect for each other

8. Our separation is not permanent

9. I enjoy spending 'just chicks' time with my kids

10. It's still summer

:)

I'm sat too AND ITS NOT EVEN SUMMER HERE! Cold, wet and grey - just like my mood!
