A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Yes, Jen, we'll be sad together. Interestingly enough, just reading your post about being on the verge of tears brought more tears to my eyes! :(

Monique, I almost made the mistake of posting what I'm sad about and then thought better of it...didn't want any negative replies or advice from anyone. Thanks for the dancing stick man. He did make me smile a little...

 I remembered you like Garfield and found this recently...

Aww. Welshie.... well done.

Ok - I just pm's MissLiss with my 'list' of why I'm sad... so why do I have reasons to be happy?

1. It's summer

2. My kids are happy it's summer

3. I don't have the running around with school and extra-curricular 'stuff' because it's summer

4. Winter is over

5. Did I mention, it's summer?

6. I have family and friends who love me

7. I found my 'other half' on another continent (ok, he found me... a technicality) and we are desperately in love and perfect for each other

8. Our separation is not permanent

9. I enjoy spending 'just chicks' time with my kids

10. It's still summer

:)

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!
