Maybe I'm optimistically naive, but I just don't see that as happening. Both MySpace and Friendster have people posting their photos for literally millions to see. Y'all sound a bit paranoid... :reading:

there are a few here that know what i look like ... but i don't see it as a necessary thing ...

besides ... i would hate for some blogger to post my pic and write some un-truth about how i pick my nose and fart all around the house while my children are unattended all day playing video games ... y'know?!?!?

I used to post our photos on my avatar and in my photo gallery, but I got flamed pretty viciously in past discussions and it caused me to be a bit cautious about posting my photo so publicly. On second thought...I think the paranoia is unfounded, but even paranoids have real enemies.

I have noticed that people on VJ don't post their photos as they once did in the past. Everyone has their own reasons not to.

I used to post our photos on my avatar and in my photo gallery, but I got flamed pretty viciously in past discussions and it caused me to be a bit cautious about posting my photo so publicly. On second thought...I think the paranoia is unfounded, but even paranoids have real enemies.

I have noticed that people on VJ don't post their photos as they once did in the past. Everyone has their own reasons not to.

i've seen too many unusual things happen when one posts their pics online. and after the fiasco of a few members having their pics posted on another site from here, no way will i do so.
