See... I told you so, Ever. Getting NOA1 is very easy because they wanted to cash your check as soon as possible. Once they cashed your check you'll get your NOA1 in a flash. Getting NOA2 is very tricky and difficut. Sometime you get 1 RFE and sometime you get more after you've submitted the first one. And sometime they run a backround check and takes forever to get NOA2. Anyway, what i'm trying to say is NOA2 is very tricky and difficut. Some people completed their I-130 the same way as you did but received RFE and some people don't. The bottom line is that different I-130 processor have different opinion and standard.

Good luck to all of us and hopefully will get NOA2 with no RFE.

Hi ALL =)...

Why are we so quiet? I got my NOA1 today (June 5th). I know it is not a big deal, but I am trying to keep excited about this. I just hope that WE all have a smooth process. I will be praying for all of us.

P.S. The receipt number on the back of the check (from deposit) does not match the receipt number on NOA1. Has this happeneded to any of you?

Any ways, hope to hear from you guys more often. Keep in touch!!

Yes, it has happened to many people, myself included. Most pple reported that the number was off by one digit.

And guys, I know the process is hard and long and you want to check that USCIS website 100x per day, but they really don't keep up with it. People sometimes get approved before any status change is made online on their portfolio at all. So don't pin your hopes up too much on that online status, your time is better served reading through guides and preparing for next step of the journey.

Good luck to everyone!

I don't know but I think because of high percentage of fraud or something like that or maybe they think people marriage to escape poverty since Cambodia is a 3rd world country. Whatever it was... they rejected a lot of visa. You have to fight very hard for it before you can get one. I think vietnam is also high rate too.

I hope someday the government arested these scammer people and let them play a high price for it, for example, $750,000 or 15 year in jail or both. These people makes our life very difficult. To date, the government fines only $250,000 or 5 year in jail or both. I think this is way to low that is why there so many scammer there.
