Congrats to the approvals that are comming!!

In recent events that have happened with my husband some of you know he was to finish his military time on Wednesday, he went to take his military ID and get his papers to find out they are going to extend his time for 6 months. He actually cried and of course so did I as this was not what we were expecting. Had to get myself into quick acceptance of this and know they can't keep him forever. The reasons for a penalty system they use. On my last trip there 3 weeks ago we were on vacation together and some kind of machine came up missing at the camp where he stays and there are only 6 of them. As know one took the blame the military added time to them all. Also got time for not wearing the right socks to work. Just unreasonable things to me to comprehend. Same happened to my girlfriends husband she is from Denmark and her husband is also serving in Egypt, he wore the wrong shoes to work and got 21 days in jail. If he messes up again he will get 60 days in jail and 6mo. added to his time and he is not to complete untill 2011. Im just devistated. So I guess when our I-130 is approved we will wait at the NVC untill he gets his completion papers. Such a bummer but trying to stay positive and wade through the storm.

Sandra, I am so very sorry to hear of his situation and the delay for you both!! I wish you both the best and hope the time goes by fast, if that's possible. Even though my husband finished his Army service in 2002, I can easily imagine being in your shoes. And the reasons they all were extended time is so frustrating!!

Maybe by some miracle, they will not have to wait the full 6 months, lets hope and pray!!

So sorry to hear that, Sandra. Don't worry everything will be ok. Cheer up!

Congrats to MOB on your NOA2!!! USCIS is working all kinds of files from May and June, did they forget about the march filers I feel so bad for them. I thought it was to go in order or close there of?

I was second guessing my papers and knew I was taking a chance when I signed my husbands G-325 with my name in brackets and signed my name and put petitioner next to it. As I know of a few that have done that and were approved. So when I was in Egypt this month I had him sign them and I sent those in priority mail and they recieved them yesterday with my NOA1 cover sheet as USCIS directed, so maybe they can add that to it and notice oh wow she filed in May and were approving June and decide to work my case. Who knows its a shot in the dark. At least I won't get an RFE for the G-325 at least I hope not.

My husband did the same..put his name, wrote petitioner and signed...now that's our fear. I hope they won't RFE us cos it will cause delay and I'm really starting to hate USCIS for making us all wait..!! :crying:

Hey Sandra,

On the positive side about this (I know it looks like there isn't one now) when Ahmed get's his visa it will be a IR-1 instead of the CR-1. So you won't have to do the removal of conditions...straight to the 10 years greencard for you guys. Saves money and the headache of again "proving" the relationship true. Anyhow, best of luck my dear. Thoughts and prayers are with ya.
