Hey folks,

Guess what happened today. Seems that soon as someone starts kicking about how the USCIS works things start happening. Maybe they have someone monitoring these posts to see who and how people are making these issues known.

I GOT A LETTER TODAY SAYING "CONGRATULATIONS" YOUR APPLICATION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS HAS BEEN APPROVED AS OF 05.07.09.

So I thank you all for your comments and contributions to this topic and wish all of those still waiting a speedy conclusion to your applications. Just because I have my approval now I am not done yet and I am sure that soon as I am eligible to apply for citizenship I will probably be, once again cursing the system.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND GOD BE WITH YOU ALL IN YOUR JOURNEY.

Congratulations.

Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet.

USCIS has collapsed and working like spoiled child because there is nobody who can ask them what the hell they are doing! How VSC can process cases who files after us (Nov 2008) and how CSC can think about processing cases filed in March 2009 with our old pending cases. More than 80,000 (Official USCIS fuigure) transfers VSC-CSC faced/facing this kind cirminial treatment.

We all need to write to respective senators, congressmen (also the active National immigration politicians) and also USCIS (high Officials). We all are paying them and they have to follow some manners and rules.

The point is that CSC has ALWAYS been speedy, throughout the years I've followed this forum, and I don't see how VSC completely f$$$king up and sending their backlog to CSC should affect existing CSC customers. VSC's manager should have been fired a long time ago, that's what needed to happen. Why is CSC capable of doing their job and VSC isnt? That's the real unfairness here, not CSC not processing the backlogged files first.

P.S As you can see from my timeline, it took me over 5 months to get my green card from CSC, not 60 days like "everyone".

I went through the same thing, my conditional green card was also delayed due to namecheck. I waited 5 months after the interview date. Now that I'm thinking to apply for naturalization but I don't really know how long will the name check take to clear.

Does anyone know?
