I got a call from Senator Inouye's office this morning.

They got us an interview date! August 14--our one year anniversary!! A notice should be in the mail shortly.

Many mahalos to Barbara the best and most knowledgable staff aide I have worked with. The other two were pretty much worthless.

Advice: If you want to get your congress and senators involved--try them all--you never know which one will actually be helpful!

Good advice regarding involving your Members of Congress. I actually work for a Congressman from Minnesota and aside from working on my own case, I have helped others :D Members of Congress can be very helpful in getting things moving, especially if you are having trouble. The bottom line is don't hesitate to call your Representative and Senators if you have problems....they are there to serve you!! Always ask to speak to the staffer who handles immigration when you call and they will help from there. Good luck :thumbs:
