Good evening everyone, I've tried searching for similar posts of what I am about to ask, but I haven't seen anything so I hope someone might be able to shine some light.

My fiance and I will be starting the K1 process in the fall for our wedding in the summer of 2010. Our problem is, my fiance's best friend just got engaged and is planning a wedding in late spring of 2010 outside of their home country. It is possible by that point that our K1 can either be approved or still in process. I know they don't advise traveling, but since it was for a quick wedding trip for his friend, I didn't know if anyone else has been through the process. I am more worried that if our K1 visa has already been approved, can he enter another country in the EU as long as he isn't coming over to the U.S. first where our wedding will be held? I would just hate for my fiance to have to miss his best friend's wedding.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :star:

having a US visa or being in process of getting a US visa does not put an end to a person's life.... particularly traveling to countries other than the US

YMMV
