Hello and thank you for your help.

I dont know where to ask. I have CR1 visa and GC for 2 yrs. Do i need a visa to visit Canada? We want to go in Montreal.

10/27/11 Check cashed

10/26/11 NOA1

11/4/11 Biometrics for 11/22/11

11/28/11 received notification that I am in line for interview scheduling

11/30/11 received both text and email that my N-400 is already schedule for interview

1/05/12 interview - passed !!!!

3/22/12 Oath Ceremony !!!!

your CR1 visa is a visa to the USA and not to Canada so never would have applied to this situation.

Since you have already arrived in the USA.. your CR1 visa is used and no longer valid

You are now a permanent resident. As a PR of the USA you are allowed to travel to Canada without an additional visa

Canada recognizes green card holders in the US as permanent residents of the US and treats them the same as US citizens so you will not need a visa to visit Canada. Be sure to bring your passport and your greencard with you. Montreal is a beautiful city - enjoy your visit.
